Quarterback is the most important position on the football field, and the
Hokies will have the luxury of having a senior who has been at least a part-time
starter since his freshman season. The biggest questions at quarterback are who
will win the backup position, and if Logan Thomas wins it, will it be as early
as this spring?

The Hokies will have four scholarship quarterbacks on campus this spring.
That’s a big change from last year, when they had only two. Besides evaluating
and coaching his players, Mike O’Cain has to decide how to budget the reps for
each player. We’ll get to that later.

Please note that heights and weights have not been updated on HokieSports.com
since the fall. These heights and weights will change on HokieSports.com within
the next two weeks, as is normal in each spring. Ricardo Young’s height and
weight come from his recruiting profile on HokieSports.com.
