On Monday, we previewed Virginia Tech’s offensive backfield, which has
excellent talents such as Tyrod Taylor and Darren Evans. Today we’ll look at the
wide receivers and tight ends. Both positions add more weapons to an offense
that looks loaded at the skill positions.

The Hokies were very young at wide receiver last year, and that inexperience
showed. Tyrod Taylor’s numbers dropped from his freshman season, and only two
touchdown passes were caught by wide receivers all year. This year should be
much better, as the Hokies have more experience and more depth.
