With spring football practice beginning on April 1st, it’s time to kickoff
our coverage. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from now until the start of
practice, we’ll release a preview for one or more positions on the team. Today
we’ll start with the offensive backfield and take a look at the quarterbacks,
tailbacks and fullbacks.

The Hokies have a very experienced offensive backfield heading into the
spring. They return starters at all three positions, and appear to have a lot of
quality depth at tailback. All eyes will be the quarterback position, where fans
will be interested to see how Tyrod Taylor has progressed, and how backs Ju Ju
Clayton and Marcus Davis are looking.
