Virginia Tech is completing its fourth year in ACC competition, and the
results have been encouraging so far. The Hokies have won a total of nine ACC
Championships in their first four years in the league. As Tech becomes
entrenched in the ACC, and recruiting continues to improve across all sports,
that number has a chance to improve.
In fact, Virginia Tech ranks in the top half of the conference in ACC
Championships since expansion. Here is a look at those standings.

Virginia Tech has become (for the time being) dominant in a few different sports
in the ACC, namely football, women’s track & field, and softball. The Hokies
are good in other sports, such as men’s soccer. The Hokies advanced to the
College Cup this year, which is the Final Four of college soccer. However, they
didn’t win the ACC.
