A Look at 2008 ACC Football Recruiting Star Ratings

Now that all the letters-of-intent have come in, we can take a look at the
recruiting classes around the ACC. It was a strong recruiting year around the
conference, which was much needed. The usual culprits are found at the top of
the rankings, as well as at the bottom. Where do the Hokies stack up? About the
same place as usual.

The ACC isn’t well thought of in the college football ranks, having not won a
BCS bowl game since 1999. After having more players selected in the 2006 NFL
Draft than any other conference, the league has been in dire need of a talent
influx. This year’s recruiting classes help out quite a bit.
