Henrico (VA) teammates Corey Mosley and Brandon Spurlock visited UVa unofficially this past Saturday and the experiences went well. The 5-9, 192-pound Mosley already has an offer from the ‘Hoos, while the 5-10, 185-pound Spurlock is drawing interest as well.

“Me and Brandon went there together,” Mosley said. “We had a chance to chill a little bit. It was a great game. They had the same exact score as we did in our game…I wonder if it was relaying a message or something (laughs). I loved the game. I liked the crowd. I liked the defense. I noticed that the defense got very aggressive. I was looking at Marcus Hamilton and picking up little things.”

During the game, Mosley had the opportunity to meet prized UVa quarterback recruit Peter Lalich. He and Spurlock already know another UVa quarterback – Jameel Sewell – from Sewell’s days at Hermitage High School.

“I got to talk to Peter,” Mosley said. “I talked to him about what drew him to UVa and, you know, we’ve got some similar interests.”

“I’m not sure what they really want me to play, yet. Watching the game, I saw some areas they were weak in where I think I could help.”

This week, Mosley says he has “received a call from Virginia Tech’s Coach Cavanaugh and I got a letter from Coach Beamer. They want me to come to a game sometime soon. I’m looking forward to getting down there as well.”

As for UVa, he could end up going back to Charlottesville this weekend.

“We were going to actually talk about the official visit on Thursday. I would like to do it this weekend, but the problem is my parents have work on the weekends,” Mosley said. “I might end up riding down by myself, but my Mom wants to get up there to make sure of the educational part.”

Mosley was asked if he had a clear favorite school at this point. He has been offered by Tennessee, Virginia and Virginia Tech, with the in-state programs being the only ones to make phone contact this month.

“I love everything about UVa,” Mosley said. “They are at the
