Tech’s men’s basketball program has been on a bit of a roll as of late, landing quality prospects for the 2007 and 2008 classes, respectively. Coach Seth Greenberg is hoping to keep the momentum going and he appears to have made a good impression on Dorenzo Hudson, a 6-4, 185-pound guard who is rated a 4-star prospect by Scout.com.
“I made an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech last week,” said Hudson, a class of 2007 recruit. He is transferring into Hargrave Military Academy for the upcoming year. “It was just a day visit. I went up and talked to people in the education department and watched some film.”
Hudson’s impression of the Tech coaches and the program is positive.
“I’d say they are doing a great job of recruiting me,” Hudson said, referring to the Tech staff. “They have a nice coaching staff. They really seem to care about the player and the person. I felt real comfortable there. I like the style of play. They like to push it and play pressure defense.”
