Varina defensive tackle recruit Bud Tribbey had a fantastic visit to Syracuse this past weekend. In fact, he was close to making a verbal commitment to the Orange. Luckily for Tech, the 6-1, 285-pound prospect is giving the Hokies one more look before making a verbal commitment anywhere.

“He’s visiting Virginia Tech on Saturday,” Varina offensive coordinator Blanda Wolfe said. “He might have a decision soon after that, but I’m not sure.”

Whenever the decision comes, Wolfe says “it will be between Syracuse and Virginia Tech.”

At this point, the decision is a tight one.
