Matt Wright, an all-state selection who is one of the top remaining in-state targets still uncommitted, has shaken up his official visit schedule for this month. Having already been to the University of Maryland on an official visit, the Phoebus (Hampton, VA) star plans to take at least three officials this month before making his decision.

“I’ve pretty much dropped South Carolina and N.C. State has fallen back,” Wright said. “I’m now going to visit UNC this weekend. I’m going to Tech on the 20th and, right now, I have UVa scheduled for the 28th.”

Virginia Tech has been high on his list since the beginning. At this point, Wright is definitely planning to take the UVa official visit before committing anywhere and doesn’t expect to decide after the weekend of the 20th.

“I’m looking at UVa regardless,” Wright replied when asked if he could make a decision following his official to Virginia Tech. “I don’t think there’s any way I decide before [he takes his official visit to Virginia].”
