Navorro Bowman ‘s recruiting process is about to come to an end. The 6-0, 218-pound Suitland (MD) star has set a date when he will announce his decision among a final list of three schools. Which schools made the final cut for the 4-star recruit?
“I’m going to announce my decision on Wednesday, December 7th,” Bowman said. “It’s going to be on ESPN News at 3:30 p.m. My finalists are Penn State, Ohio State and Virginia Tech.”
Bowman says “I have narrowed it down to two, but I’m not going to say which ones (laughs).”
He named a positive or two about each of his finalists.
“For Penn State, I’m impressed with how well they are bringing the program back towards a high level,” Bowman said. “I’m impressed with the support around the program and it’s a great program. Virginia Tech is the same way. There is a lot of support there. I liked how they lost a big game, but still fought back.
“For Ohio State, I just like how they’ve been playing hard for numerous years. I watched them when I was a kid and decided just to take a visit there. I’ve come close to the program.”
Bowman, who graduates high school on December 20th, will enroll at his selected college in January.
