6-5, 300-pound Jared Odrick has always been the biggest kid on the block. But he’s always been the fastest as well, and it’s his package of size, speed and agility that have earned him a 4-star rating by both National recruiting services and interest from schools all across the country.

“Ever since I was younger, I’ve always been bigger,” Odrick said. “When I was in elementary school, I was the fattest kid but I was also the fastest. I’ve always been the tallest and the biggest.”

Odrick, who totaled 72 tackles including nine tackles-for-loss and five sacks last season as a junior, plays defensive end for Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

“For my size, I think I move very well,” Odrick said. “I move well laterally. I can come off the ball quickly. I can do the same things that smaller, quicker players can do. I like to rush the passer. I take pride in rushing the passer and I make sure, when the opposing team runs to my side, that I move side to side well to stop the play.”
