4-star tight end Drew Gloster has decided to take all five official visits. The Good Counsel (Wheaton, MD) star has only set two officials, but he does know the destinations for all five.
“I’m going to Virginia Tech on Columbus Day weekend (October 10th) and I’m going to Maryland on December 2nd,” Gloster said. “I’m also going to take visits to Florida, Georgia and Miami.”
Asked if Virginia Tech remained his favorite school, Gloster replied “Virginia Tech’s still my favorite.”
While the leader hasn’t changed, one thing that has is his commitment timetable. Gloster had stated in previous updates that he would likely commit to Tech after his official visit. That may not be the case right now.
“I think I might wait until after I take all my official visits,” Gloster replied. “You never know if you’re going to find something you like better.”
Good Counsel fell to Robinson 21-6 last Friday night. Gloster discussed the game.
“It was tough,” Gloster said of the loss. “We got off to a slow start in the first half and couldn’t recover. We’re already thinking about the next game, though. The next game is even more important now.”
Gloster also gave a scouting report of sorts on RB Lucas Caparelli, who is another VT recruit.
“He’s good,” Gloster said of Caparelli. “He’s quick. You have to watch out because he’ll make one move and then he’s off. I want to say he’s tough to bring down, too.”
