5-11, 180-pound Freedom (Morganton, NC) cornerback recruit Jordan Hemby will make his scheduled official visit to Virginia Tech this weekend. Currently, the speedy star has 3 official visits lined up in the next 3 weeks.

“I’ve got Virginia Tech this weekend,” Hemby said. “Next weekend I go to UNC and the next weekend is N.C. State. I probably will take another one, but I’m not sure where I’ll go.”

Hemby, who visited Tech unofficially earlier this year for the West Virginia game, in anxious to see more of the school and get to know the players a little bit better this time around.

“I just glanced over it before,” Hemby said. “I want to see how the players act and what a typical day is like. I also want to look at the different coverages Virginia Tech runs.”
