Due to time constraints, 6-3, 231 pound Bergen Catholic star Brian Cushing has been unable to make unofficial visits since his June 12th trip to UVa. He still holds out hope that he will be able to make at least a few more before the start of his season, but is not sure how many opportunities he will have.
“Everything’s going pretty good,” Cushing said of his summer. “I haven’t taken any visits recently though. I want to take some more unofficial visits but I have no idea when I’ll be able to with the time I have. Whenever we can go I’ll go I guess.”

Cushing said earlier that UVa, Miami (FL), and Southern California are schools very likely to receive official visits. The same holds true today, however another schools has risen and may also get one of the five official visit spots.
“Yeah,” Cushing said when asked if UVa, Miami, and USC were likely favorites for official visits. “And Penn State [might get one]. I went down there for an unofficial visit and it went real well. Their recruiting class is great and they have a great tradition.”
At this point, Cushing said the recruiting process has “cooled down. I e-mail a coach every once in a while to keep in touch, but other than that, nothing else is going on.” Football-wise, things are starting to crank up. Bergen Catholic has begun their summer practices...
