Massaquoi Lists Top Schools

6-2, 185 pound wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi ‘s scholarship offer list has increased to 18 total offers since the Evaluation period. The Independence High School (Charlotte, NC) star isn’t overwhelmed by the amount of offers, however, and is instead looking forward to the rest of his recruiting process…however long that may be.

“It’s going to be easy for me,” Massaquoi said of his decision-making process. “We have had a lot of people who have experience with it. People I can talk to about the same situation. I know a lot of players who have gone on to college. Our wide receivers coach was recruited before too. It’s not going to be difficult. When I get a gut feeling on one school, that’s when I’ll probably decide.”

Massaquoi has been busy visiting many of the schools he’s interested in, with the most recent being the University of Georgia. He visited Georgia last Thursday with his teammate Joe Cox. Cox, the starting quarterback for Independence, decommitted from Duke and committed to Georgia on the visit.

“I had a great time [at Georgia],” Massaquoi said. “I had a chance to interract with the coaches. Everything was organized and the visit went really well. The schedule was tight.”
