Gonzaga (Washington, DC) wide receiver Doug Dutch announced his decision today, choosing the University of Michigan over Maryland, Virginia, Miami, and Florida. Dutch made official visits to all of those programs.
“He committed to Michigan,” Gonzaga Head Coach Kenny Lucas said. “It was a tough decision. I think honestly he could have chosen any one of the five schools involved. He enjoyed all of his official visits and all of the coaching staffs. He really couldn’t have made a bad decision. He just felt the most comfortable at Michigan, and they offer a great combination of academics and athletics.”
The 6-0, 190 pound prospect is one of the top wide receivers in the country. He is recognized as a consensus four-star prospect, possessing the big-play speed and athleticism.
