Clint Sintim had one in-home visitor last night, as Virginia Tech Defensive Coordinator Bud Foster made the trip to Woodbridge to meet with one of the top prospects in the state of Virginia.

“Coach Bud Foster was in here earlier tonight,” Sintim said last night. “He was just talking about the program. He was just trying to tell me things that would help me make my decision. He talked about football and academics. Also, I’m going down there this weekend [for an official visit] so we were talking about that.”

The 6-3, 245 pound Gar-Field High School (Woodbridge, VA) defensive end is anxious to make his first official visit. Following Virginia Tech, Sintim will head to Virginia for an official visit next weekend and will likely go to Maryland on the weekend of December 20th.

“I am excited,” Sintim said of his first official visit. “I’m flying out there on Friday night right after my basketball game. I’m just looking to have a good time, and see if it will help me narrow my decision further. “I’m going to try to take all five,” Sintim said. “I want to go to Ohio State and Tennessee, but I haven’t talked to them in a while. I’ll probably call them and tell them I’m interested and go from there. Other than those two, I’d think about Syracuse, UNC, and Marshall. I talked with the Marshall coach yesterday, and he was really cool. He was there recruiting a teammate of mine, [senior tailback] Mike Copeland. He just said if it didn’t work out with the other schools, Marshall would be there for me. He was really nice.”

In addition to speaking with Virginia Tech and Marshall, Sintim met with Virginia Defensive Coordinator Al Golden, who was in-home on Monday.

“Virginia had an in-home on Monday,” Sintim said. “Coach Golden came to see me. He just talked to me about the program and trying to recruit me. Basically, everything he told me I already knew, but he told it to me and my father so my father was pretty excited. My father liked both the Virginia
