Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA) defensive end Clint Sintim was able to make an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech last weekend for the Miami game.
His first-ever visit to Virginia Tech was a positive experience.
“The game was crazy,” said Sintim. “The atmosphere was great… everyone was yelling for their team. Their fans are wild. After the game I went into the locker room and spoke to the coaches. I knew them already, and they were really nice. A lot of people were extremely nice. People who weren’t part of the staff were trying to get me to go to their school.”
Though Sintim was impressed with the game, he says the visit did not have much effect on his list…he still claims no favorites. He still wants to make all five official visits before making his decision.
“I’m still going to try and take all of my visits,” said Sintim, who wants to officially visit MD, TN, OSU, UVA, and VT. He has scheduled a visit to UVA for December 12th. “I’ll take those and decide from my experiences.”
Sintim has not scheduled any other visits, but hopes to do so soon. Gar-Field plays their final regular season game versus Woodbridge this Friday.
Sintim was able to go to both the UVA/FSU and VT/Miami games. So how did the two compare?
“I really had a good time at both,” said Sintim. “Actually, the only difference was that I got to do more at Virginia Tech than Virginia because I stayed the night. They were both good though.”
