For several months, Forest Hills (Marshville, NC) OT/DT Marque Hall has named a top five of NC State, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Not much has changed since coaches have been able to contact players.
“I still like NC State, UNC, Tennessee, Virginia, and Virginia Tech,” said Hall. “I don’t have a leader. Virginia and NC State send me the most letters, but I don’t know if anyone is really recruiting me harder than the others.”
Hall has not set up any official visits. He is busy focusing on taking care of business in the classroom, notably on the SAT test.
“I haven’t set up any official visits,” said Hall. “I want to get my SAT’s straight before I do that. I have to take care of that first before I think about my visits.”
On the gridiron, Hall has had back-to-back solid games. He has five sacks over the last two games. As the season progresses, he is learning to deal with the double and triple teams coming his way.
“I’m learning to battle out there,” said Hall. “I don’t think about the double teams, I just play. I’ve had five sacks in the past two games. Our team is 2-0 in the conference, so we’re looking good.”
Of his top five, Virginia and NC State are recruiting Hall as an offensive tackle. UNC, Virginia Tech, and Tennessee like the 6-5, 305 pound prospect as a defensive tackle.
