Heading into last weekend’s official visit to Raleigh, NC, George Bell had named NC State as his leader.
Following the visit, Bell still has the Wolfpack on top, however the 5-11, 225 pound running back from Jack Britt High School (NC) did not make a commitment.
“The visit went real well,” said Bell. “I’ve been there a couple of times before, so this gave me a chance to see more of the school. I didn’t commit though.”
The Wolfpack are joined by Michigan at the top of Bell’s list. He has already taken an official visit to Ann Arbor on September 6th.
Bell will visit North Carolina on October 3rd, Virginia Tech on October 10th, and Miami (FL) on October 17th before making a decision.
“I would say NC State and Michigan are one and one right now,” said Bell. “They are both at the top. The difference between them is that Michigan is a been there, done that type of program with tradition. NC State is an on-the-way-up type of program.
“I still plan on taking all of my visits. My plan is to decide after my final trip, which is to Miami (FL). If I’m still undecided after that, then I’ll wait longer.”
Bell will take this weekend off from visits to take the ACT test. On the gridiron, he has been unable to play this season and is unsure of whether or not he will play. Regardless, Bell is one of the top prospects in the country based on his outstanding physical ability.
