Pottstown (PA) cornerback Chris Gorham begins his run of three official visits in three consecutive weeks this weekend, when he travels to Notre Dame.

Next weekend, Gorham will take an official visit to Virginia [for the Wake Forest game]. He will head to Georgia Tech for the weekend of October 4th.

All three schools are at the top of the talented cornerback’s list.

“My top three schools are Georgia Tech, Virginia, and Notre Dame,” said Gorham. “There isn’t a leader among those three schools. I’m going to Notre Dame this weekend, Virginia next weekend, and Georgia Tech the weekend after that. I’m excited to go on all three visits. It’s going to be a great experience.”

A decision may come following these three visits. Gorham is not sure if he will decide in October or if he will wait.

“After the three visits, I’ll see what happens,” said Gorham. “I guess the plan right now is I’ll come home, sort everything out, and try and make a decision. I probably won’t decide until late October or early November. I’ll take my time and go over all of the information. I’m not exactly sure when I’ll have a decision though – it all depends.”

With all three schools even, the official visits will be key. Gorham admits the visits will not make-or-break his decision, however does believe he will now have more information to compare between the schools.

“The official visits won’t make the decision for me, but it’s something else I could use,” said Gorham. “It’ll give me another chance to go to each school and see what it’s like in a game atmosphere. It will give me a chance to talk with the players more than I did before.”

Before Gorham heads down to Notre Dame, what is one thing he likes about each of his three favorites?

“I like Georgia Tech because of the location,” said Gorham. “When I went down there before, I just liked it. I like how the campus is inside the city.

“I like UVA’s coaching staff. I’m more familiar with the program than any other because I’ve been down there twice already. I’ve developed a good relationship with Bob Price, the defensive backs coach. Just looking at their roster, I think I would have the chance to play early as well. Plus they are in the ACC, just like Georgia Tech.
