Liberty (Bealeton) athlete Anthony (AJ) Brown has been rolling in the offers recently.
In addition to the two early offers from Syracuse and Clemson, three more Division I schools have joined in the mix within the past two weeks.
“AJ Brown now has five offers,” said Liberty head coach Tom Buzzo. “Clemson, Syracuse, Temple, Kentucky, and Indiana.”
Coach Buzzo expects more schools to visit this week, so Brown could have more official offers by week’s end.
Brown, who is 5-11 and weighs a solid 200 pounds, plays running back and safety for Liberty. As a junior, he averaged 8.0 yards per carry. As a sophomore, he tallied an impressive six interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.
The versatile Brown could play a number of positions on the collegiate level – running back, wide receiver, or safety. He is a big hitter with great instincts as a safety.
Look for an update soon on AJ Brown, who seems to be attracting quite a bit of attention this spring.
