Notes: The brother of Hokie defensive end Nathaniel Adibi, Xavier is a highly-recruited defensive end/fullback who projects as a linebacker in college. He racked up 18 sacks and more than 100 tackles as Phoebus roared to a 13-1 record and the Virginia Group AAA, Division 5 championship in 2001. Offensively, Adibi ran for 900 yards and 21 touchdowns as a junior.

Adibi prefers defense, saying in TSL Extra #19, "I’m pretty much a defensive guy. I love defense. I love the thrill of hitting somebody and seeing it in their eyes. When you get that big stick and you see them hurting a bit, that’s a big rush."

As a senior, Adibi had another great year and earned Virginia state Group AAA Player of the Year honors, making the first-team all-state squad at the defensive end position.
