Marvin Austin

Notes: Austin is one of the top overall prospects in the 2007 class. A defensive tackle, he is an exceptional athlete for his size. And he's strong, as he can bench press 225 pounds 26 times.

As a junior last season, Austin, a two-time all-DCIAA performer, made 12 tackles for loss, eight sacks and had five forced fumbles.

Head coach Jason Lane: "Marvin is what I consider a freak of nature. Marvin actually runs about a 4.72 in the 40. At 300 pounds and 4.72, his maximum bench press is about 450 as a junior. He also runs the 55 meters and the 300 meters in track and you don’t see that too often. And he does well in those events. He’ll win his heat.”
