Notes:
Parker was a 4-year letterman and a 1-year starter. He played tailback and fullback during his Tech career, and was a major contributor at both positions. He led the Hokies in receiving in 1997. He was drafted in the 7th round of the 1998 NFL Draft.
Parker was a highly touted player from Virginia. The Roanoke Times ranked him #8 in the state, and he would have been higher had he not torn his ACL his senior year of high school. He was being heavily recruited by schools such as Penn State, Virginia, and Notre Dame, but they all backed off, partly because of his injury. Before his senior season, Super Prep rated him the #3 player in Virginia. Tom Lemming rated him the #22 running back in the nation.
