Lee Suggs

Notes: Suggs developed into one of the best running backs in Virginia Tech history. Despite sharing playing time with Kevin Jones, he rushed for 1,325 yards in 2002, which is the 3rd best season in Tech history. Suggs holds numerous touchdown and scoring records for Virginia Tech, the Big East, and the NCAA.

Suggs was rated the #8 recruit in the state by The Roanoke Times. He was the #19 running back in the nation by SuperPrep. SuperPrep also ranked him the #4 player in Virginia. He was an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Today. He rushed for a remarkable 2,918 yards and 30 touchdowns during his senior season in high school.
