Kenny Lewis

Notes: Kenny Lewis is the son of 1970's VT tailback Kenny Lewis. In his four-year GW-Danville career, Lewis rushed 315 times for 2,113 yards (6.7 ypc) and scored 29 touchdowns. He also caught 18 passes for 383 yards (21.7 ypc) and 4 TD's, and returned 7 kicks for TD's. Lewis' best year was his senior year, when he rushed for 1,040 yards on 136 carries (7.6 ypc) and 13 TD's, caught 10 passes for 64 yards, and returned 5 kicks for TD's.

The younger Lewis is also an excellent baseball player and sprinter. He has been clocked at 21.7 in the 200-meter dash and 6.1 in the 60-meter dash. LC Bird Head Coach David Bedwell complimented Lewis, saying that when he runs he "looks like he is flying over the field."
