Dwayne Thomas

Notes: Dwayne Thomas is the sixth leading rusher in Virginia Tech history. He ran for 2,696 career yards. He ran for 1,130 in 1993. At the time that was the third best mark in Tech history, and it currently stands as the sixth best season. He was a 4-year letterman and a 3-year starter.

Thomas led the state of Florida in rushing his senior year in high school. He ran for 2,672 yards and 40 touchdowns. He was the #56 running back in the nation by Max Emfinger and one of the top 200 seniors in the ACC area by The Poop Sheet. Selected to play in the Florida All-Star game.
