Notes: Carlton Powell is a defensive line prospect who has been a part of the resurgence of Great Bridge football, as the Wildcats achieved their first winning season in nine years in 2001 with a 6-4 record. Powell played linebacker his sophomore and junior seasons. He then changed to defensive tackle his senior season, and after a few games, moved over to defensive end. Powell camped at Virginia Tech in 2001 and Virginia in 2002, receiving offers from each team after being at their camps. He is an excellent student who scored over 1200 on his SAT's on the first try.
