However, I am sure that Tyrod or Russell could start for any other team. I do think either QB would have a difficult time dethroning a "franchise QB" or even a borderline "franchise QB." It is a toss up whether either could dethrone an "heir apparent" QB/whomever drafted in the 2018 Draft or a QB that has already been named the starter for next season (i.e. KC). Right now there are only a few teams looking for a "franchise QB" and I am not sure any of them are close to being a Playoff contender. Is it in Tyrod's best interest to be a starter on a bad team or a backup on a good/great team?
