It's a big decision but honestly thats part of life...


I don't think the Shyrone Stith situation is all that common. I think the reality is a lot of guys just get inpatient, ignore expert advice (Jerod Evans), or don't feel like putting the effort into school, so they leave. Their lives aren't ruined by not playing in the NFL. The Deangelo Halls that play in the league forever and make millions are rare anyway, and if you are that type of talent. You definitely go in the first two rounds. If you drop really low, or don't get drafted at all, the reality is you are one of the guys that will only be in the league a year or two or maybe even just a practice squad player, and that is what the majority of guys are. The joke that NFL means "not for long". Most of these guys that leave early or juniors, they can certainly return to school and pay for one year. I guess I don't see this as that big of a deal.
