realize just how big of a fan following that McClung has from becoming an internet sensation. Most everyone knows about the big crowds. But I’d say many do not know about the interaction he has with his fans. No matter where he plays, he signs autographs and poses for pictures with dozens of kids and adults alike after the game, and occasionally before. And not just an autograph here and there. It’s been my observation that he interacts with all fans waiting, no matter how long it takes. Case in point: GC has had a good season. Everyone knows it’s easy to be happy and cordial to others when you win. But last Saturday, after he and his team got their butts whipped, there was a long line of people waiting to meet him. The team belatedly came out of the locker room, and they were dejected. It would have been easy for Mac to be mad and walk on by. But he did not. He greeted everyone in line (even the Graham fans who were waiting to meet him and get autographs). This says a lot about his character.
