We gave Pat Mason 4 years and Coach Szefc deserves at least 4 years. That way Whit can evaluate how good his recruiting classes are and what type of product they’ll be putting out there. All of the kids now are Pat Mason leftovers, so win or lose, it’s not fair to evaluate Coach Szefc on players that aren’t his. Bullpen is clearly an issue, so I’m interested to see how Coach Szefc addresses that need in the upcoming years.
