He lives across the cul-de-sac from me. He has two large 4WD pick-ups, a HUGE Ford Expedition w/ lift kit and thin rims (Diesel), assorted trailers, tractors, lawn machines all over. Normally, he parks his vehicles in such a manner that no one can easily navigate the circle.

He routinely totes his weapons in and out of the house as is his right. He's very helpful to me whenever I have a nasty groundhog in my backyard. All I have to do is text him and he'll pop right over with his AR and knock the sucker out of this life for me. He's really good.

He and his wife and friends are very loud and excited people. They are always zooming in and out and parking haphazardly all over the cul-de-sac.

Last night, I left my windows open to enjoy the cool breezes. Of course, their ignored dogs were crying most of the night. Then at 5:30, I was awakened by the sound of cars parking in front of my house. So I got up and checked what was going on. Two guys were standing in front of his house with guns and cellphones, pacing back and forth. After about ten minutes, he came out with two rifle cases and they all piled in to his Expedition.

Then his wife popped her head out the door to to loudly share with the boys that tomorrow she will be getting her C-Section because the baby was ready to "bust out of his packaging." More small talk ensued. Then the boys sped off loudly into the morning night.

I went back to sleep.
