Frank couldn't adapt to the new way of doing things.


Pearman was fired to make room for Newsome. Frank was terrified Newsome was going to the Hoo staff, and Frank wanted Newsome for his supposed recruiting prowess in Tidewater.

So, Pearman, the TE coach, was fired, Stinney, the OL coach was moved to TE coach, and Newsome was hired as the OL coach.
