But I agree with you 100%. Some fans have tunnel vision and only look at things within a 2-3 month window. I remember what we looked like pre-Buzz and it wasn't pretty. Now, we're talking about our 2nd NCAA tourney in a row and we're beating teams like UNC, Duke and Virginia. Our recruiting has improved and we're playing solid, exciting basketball. This season, we may finish the year with a >50% FG percentage. That's crazy!!! We're also starting to play swarming team defense a la Tony Bennett. That's great to see because, imho, that's what really wins games.
When Outlaw went down for the year and Sy left the team, I though this was going to be an off-year. I didn't see how we could win while having only one player over 6'-7" but Buzz waved his magic wand and here we are. And it's all because of Buzz. His players love him. The fans love him and he loves Blacksburg.
We are truly lucky to have him.
