Agree w/the last point. The idea is to develop YOUR kids


One paradox is that a lot of foreign students are actually washed up pros, they were doing the whole youth soccer thing in Europe, doing pretty good, but not good enough and washed out. maybe there's still time to snag a schollie in the US, get an education in a less competitive soccer world. And to be more to the point, the VT men's soccer team did this when they made it to the college cup a few years back, the coach was dismissed a few years later. We did have one guy who was at VT for four years and has had a career in MLS.
