Might have been a Commodore 64.

I seem to recall needing about four months to save up $300, then getting my mom to drive me to Best so I could pay cash for it.

Since then, I've either borrowed money (really just for a house, car, and I used a 0 percent offer to buy some furniture once), or just paid for things out of general savings. Never really saved up money to purchase a specific thing since graduating college.

I would like to pay cash for my next car as well. Shouldn't be a problem unless I go crazy about what kind of car I buy next.
