In that case I cannot in clear conscience blame anyone.


It’s just an unfortunate event.

However, if the car was there first and then the bag was placed in front of the car (inadvertently) hooking the bag strap over the license plate thingy you might could make a case for this person (bag dropper) being culpable.

You can’t fault the driver as this type of thing is something you can’t foresee as well as the driver being preoccupied with driving, listening to music, thinking about their day, etc.

It just sucks and pointing fingers will not get your bag back.
