Obviously an extreme example, but you can win a lot of duals if every


wrestler on your team is ranked around 30th to 40th, but you won't do well in a big tourny because no one will place highly. A team that has 5 of the best wrestlers in the country and 5 guys that get teched every time will do far better in tournys, but lose a lot of duals.
