The Kansas Orange bowl was probably the biggest straw that broke the camel.


I have a feeling the Kansas Orange Bowl was the last straw for the largest group of fans. That whole deal was a fiasco, and was that the game that afterwards, Beamer, foolishly said, he viewed bowls as just a reward for the players?

When Beamer admitted that, it was another huge strike against huge Hokie support for post season games.

The Michigan Sugar Bowl was another huge turn off also.

And in the Boise State fiasco, plus the Georgia Chick-fil-a Bowl game, and you finally come up with a toxic brew.
