He gave up his salary of about $1M and kept his signing bonus


and roster bonus of $2M.
This will be written off as an investment as he will get more sponsorships and he hopes to be a media guy like his Dad. $1M is impressive to normal people, but this guy runs in a totally different money group. Unlike most of these athletes, he didn't start out losing most of his money to family and friends, because his family and friends are richer than he is.
But I guess his personal marketing program is working. And of course the normal liberal creed, if you disagree, you are a racist.
