Now that is incorrect.


Any flu virus included in a vaccine is dead/inactive (if it is made with the virus at all). The symptoms you're referring to are your body mounting an immune response (and it's more like a weak cold). It takes about 2 weeks from the time of the shot for you to have immunity. It's also possible for you to have already had the virus or contracted it in that time period.
