Realism against UVA tomorrow. What are chances for success?
UVA is playing great bball now and there is no question. Yet VT is playing great when they want to play at an elevated level. Even if VT plays to their potential what are the realistic chances of VT stealing one on the road against UVA?
Here in my mind will determine a win against UVA
- Hill and Bibbs need to finish with 3pt then create opportunities slashing to the basket
- JRob needs to be an assist machine
- Blackshear stays out of foul trouble
- Minimize UVA second chance points
- Low turnovers
It's pretty much the same mantra all year and it doesn't change. I didn't put defense as a key indicator because if they don't bring the defense energy then they've already lost. If all of this comes together then I think we have a 50% chance of winning.
