First game of her college career against the #14 team in the country
I think most coaches would opt for some experience in that situation if all things were equal.
At the softball banquet two weeks ago, Scot was asked who he would start if the season started then and he yielded to Angela and she said Carrie. It sounds like Carrie has had a really good spring so I have a hard time criticizing that particular decision.
No doubt both Jordan and Keely have HUGE upsides, but Jordan did have control issues - 5 walks and 6 wild pitches in 6 innings. We win the Lamar game if our pitchers can simply find the plate.
Oh well, it's a long season and it's just two games. I'm anxious to see how the rest of it plays out.
Let's Go Hokies!
