I think he’s got two Uber talented Fr pitchers
But idk if he understands how to build a rotation, take advantage of matchups
ie you start your best, most dominant pitcher so she can re-enter to close should we need a change up in mid game
It makes sense to try to get through lineup 1-2 times then maybe once with a reliever to throw off timing of hitters but he consistently waits until starter gets timed up for a big HR or we get too far behind. If Dail has pitched 7 innings vs Ole Miss, would they have scored? They didn’t for the 3.1 innings she pitched, but she didn’t come in until we were down 5-0. THEN she doesn’t start game 2, he waits until we give up a 3-1 lead and brings her in when we’re down 4-3. Now she had some control issues like the others but she was dominant with Ks
