What position is he going to move to which - in one year or less - he’d even be a starter at VT, let alone NFL backup/special teams caliber? Yeah, he’s a really good athlete, but he not so freaky good that he can just slide into another position and...voila, draft ready.

IMO, he’s being completely rational and realistic. He’s got his diploma and he wants to PLAY. Transferring to a cherry picked program is EXACTLY what I would do if I was in his shoes.
