Surprised he would decline the move if the coaches suggested this particularly if his desire is to play at the next level (think slim chance at CFL). He has virtually not shot playing QB even if it was at a smaller school, but I can see him thriving in a Bucky Hodges type role next year and parlaying that into a free agent look at the next level.
