You're not an idiot. I've asked computer engineers why things don't always
work properly with high tech stuff - guess how many times the answer is "Uhh, I don't know."
You remember the Hokie Club website debacle.
My point about "tech tickets" is that I can't innocently give them to a friend, a relative, a customer as a gift. No profit motive on my part. Technology fails, not often but it does. My I-phone basically died for 4-1/2" hours before Christmas. Couldn't even turn it off to re-boot it. Froze up like an ice cube.
