Link to James... No two steps... He caught the ball in the air between
the one and two yard line, in the air but leaning over. two feet hit the ground, he fell in the direction of the lean. As he was falling he twisted toward the goal line. knees hit the ground, he fell forward toward the goal line. Ball crossed the goal line, hit the ground and popped loose. No "football move", never a ball carrier. The Bryant non catch was similar... a catch and fall and the ball loose all pretty much in one motion. No controlled step or change of direction.
Ertz caught the ball at the six, running across the field, took three or four steps and was tripped up by the tackler. Not even close to a non catch. Crazy that they made a big deal of it.
